Here is the description from DWR: Japanese minimalism meets Italian nuance in the graceful and practical Coco Chair (2001). Constructed from durable beech plywood, the build is lightweight yet extremely sturdy for easy maneuvering in dining rooms. The continuous barrel backrest doubles as an armrest and can be hung on a tabletop to free up floor space for cleaning or storage. The generously sized seat has a subtle circular indentation for increased comfort. A single piece of solid beech wood acts as both the back leg and backrest support to provide maximum strength. Available in a versatile stained ebony, as well as a striking red. The lacquer is repeatedly applied for a thick, consistent finish. Made in Italy.

We purchased the chairs in 2005 and they are in good used condition. The pieces are located in our home (non-smoking, no pets) in Georgetown. We are redesigning our living/dining room, which is why we are selling them.
